Final-year medical student - University of Cambridge
Daniel is in his final year of medical school at the University of Cambridge, and has a keen interest in medical education and broadening access to resources for students and junior doctors. He has founded and led several medical societies while at university and is keen to bring this experience to a national platform.
Co-Vice President - Mr Lim Kim Hui
CT1 - East of England
Kim is passionate about ENT surgery and is an advocate for near-peer mentoring and open educational resources. He has held several leadership positions throughout training and hopes to use his experience to contribute towards better surgical teaching via NSTS. Outside of medicine, he is an avid cook and snowboarder (when he gets the chance).

ST1 Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Jennifer initially started as an education officer when NSTS was founded. She has a keen interest in medical education and global health, for which she’s done an international health BSc. After F3/F4 in Australia, she’s excited to be starting O&G training, and be back on NSTS webinars in the same time zone!

Tobi is a final-year medical student at the University of Manchester. He hopes to have a career that combines his interests in plastic surgery, academia, surgical education, and innovation.
Treasurer - Rahul Geetala
Final-year medical student - University of Cambridge
Rahul is a final-year medical student at the University of Cambridge who is the current treasurer. He has really enjoyed surgery since his first theatre experience and is interested in orthopaedics. He looks forward to helping out in all the events this year.
Logistics Officer - Neal Patel
Final-year medical student - University College London
Neal is a final-year medical student at UCL, with keen interests in T&O and General Surgery. His main interests are medical research and improving global surgical outcomes. With experience from leading large events before, he hopes to contribute to surgical teaching through NSTS

Luanne has a strong interest in Plastic Surgery, and has a varied interest in healthcare policies and economics. She enjoys reading about novel research in burns and reconstructive surgery, and is passionate about improving surgical education. In her free time, she is a purveyor of tv shows, trying out new recipes, and hitting the gym or running

4th-year medical student - King's College London
Ivy is a fourth-year medical student at KCL, with special interests in Neurosurgery and Global Surgery. She is passionate about research and medical education and hopes to enhance surgical teaching via NSTS. Outside medicine, she enjoys music, food, and travelling.

CST - East Midlands
Sanjeev, a Core Surgical Trainee in the East Midlands, has a passion for Plastic Surgery, Research and Medical Education. With an MSc in Medical Education and experience as the founding president of the Birmingham University Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetics Society (BUPRAS), he aims to bring innovative ideas to NSTS.
Education Officer - Miss Belle Hew
CST2 - North West
Belle graduated from the University of Exeter, completed her MSc Surgical Sciences with the University of Edinburgh, PG Cert in Medical Education with Newcastle University and her MRCS with RCS England, She is passionate about surgery and education, with a career interest in vascular surgery, and is keen to share her teaching experience and the journey of core surgical training through NSTS.

Hanzla is a core surgical trainee in West Yorkshire, aspiring to a career in Trauma and Orthopaedics. He has a keen interest in research having completed an academic foundation program in the region. Hanzla is passionate about medical education and hopes to help prepare and inspire the next generation of doctors.

6th-Year Medical Student - University of Edinburgh
Lucas is an aspiring surgeon with an interest in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery and General Surgery. He enjoyed gaining experience in Medical Education in previous committees and hopes to build on this. Outside of medicine, he enjoys football and watching dog videos (with a particular interest in dachshunds, labs and goldies).

Shreyas is commencing his Plastics-Themed CT1 post in the Northeast and has a special interest in education. Having experience as a teaching fellow, he is keen to supplement surgical education for medical students via NSTS. He spends his free time hiking, reading, and trying to be the next Ali Abdaal(Youtube Sensation)

Clinical Teaching Fellow - North East
Claire is currently in her second year working as a clinical teaching fellow in Cumbria, having graduated from Newcastle University in 2020. She hopes to pursue a surgical career and in the future combine this with medical education. Outside of medicine, she loves playing golf and regularly runs with her local running club.

Molly is starting her urology themed core surgical training in London and has a passion for medical education. She completed a year working as a Clinical Education Fellow at Imperial College London and achieved Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. Outside of medicine, Molly enjoys visiting art galleries and travelling with friends.

Maria is a Specialised Foundation Doctor within Imperial College London’s Surgical Innovation program. Her goal is to become an academic surgeon, and she is particularly passionate about surgical innovation/technology and medical education.
